It was in 1840 that Jean-Baptiste Andrรฉ GODIN created the company that still bears his name today.
He implanted it in Guise, in the department of Aisne. In 1846, the brilliant pioneer of the industry had the idea of substituting a cast-iron stove with the traditional sheet-fed stove. He filed a patent and became the inventor of the cast iron wood stove. Dozens of models follow, including the famous โPETIT GODINโ which, through its celebrity, will make GODIN a common name synonymous with heating and cooking. Complete collections of appliances for heating and cooking will leave the factory in Guise. Their very high quality reflects the ancestral know-how of the foundry.
GODINโs commitment to heating is well established. Since its inception, GODIN has always relied on quality, technology and know-how. The brand has been able to remain faithful to its objectives of reliability and technological innovation. This is why the GODIN brand now has the highest reputation on the market in the wood-fired heating sector in the hexagon.
